There are many options when hiring a Professional Resume Writer and I want my clients to be educated on their choices before working with me. I am confident that when you weigh your options you will find your investment in my services will set you up for long-term success.

1. What is your turn around time?

Two weeks. I extensively research every field / industry / position before writing a resume. Should you need the project completed before then, I do have a rush delivery option.

2. Are the documents editable?

Yes. I provide both a PDF and an editable working document so you can update your resume as needed.

3. When is payment due?

After you select which option you want to move forward with I will send your contract and invoice. Once the contract is signed and invoice paid, I lock in your start date and begin your project!

4. Do you protect my personal information?

You bet! I do ask that you remove or blackout all Personal Identification Information (SSN, date of birth, etc.) prior to sending me supporting documents. All hard documents will be shredded when your product is complete.

5. I only want a resume. Why do I need the package?

All of my packages include a cover letter and references page because I believe that an appeal for employment requires more than your resume alone. A cover letter will help your story and will not be provided by every candidate, so the streamlined formatting and narrative I provide you will increase your visibility and show your committment to your job search.

6. Help! You wrote my resume a few months ago and I lost it. Do you have a copy?

I retain final versions of all resumes on an external hard drive. Contact me and I’ll see what I can do.

7. I want to work with you but I don’t have the resources. What are my options?

There are tons of free resources for resume writing and I encourage everyone to research them prior to making the investment with me. Available options consist of local State Workforce Agencies and non-profit organizations, college Career Services offices, Military OneSource, or Soldier For Life-Transition Assistance Program Centers (for Soldiers / Veterans).

Please note, however, that many times these agencies are overburdened, under staffed, and under trained. They are also likely to simply critique an existing resume or give you a template for writing your own. If you hire me, I'll be doing all of the work for you.

8. Why should I hire you?

I am invested in each of my clients. When you work with me you can be confident I have your best interests at heart and will do everything I can to ensure your best self, strengths, and skills are represented through your resume. Additionally, I do my best to stay active in the labor market by talking to hiring managers, attending job fairs, and keeping in touch with previous clients to hear what feedback they have received from employers regarding their resumes and interviews. I know what hiring managers are tired of and what they love to see. I can assure you that the application package I create for you will not be stale.

9. Will my documents be Mac and/or PC compatible?

I can provide your documents in either Pages or Word, whichever you prefer. Documents are not guaranteed to be compatible for smartphone viewing.
